2008 in review

Whew! I just finished typing this and can’t believe how crazy our lives are. Then again, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love our crazy life and I look forward to seeing just how crazy it gets when we add a girl to the mix in May!

JANUARY
Edison turned one…I can’t believe he’s already almost two!
We had several adventures (like always) to places like Chuck E Cheese and the zoo

FEBRUARY
Wrestlemania took over our house. (I’m not sure where it came from, but we had way too many wrestling pictures in February.)
Threw Mark a surprise birthday party complete with Pirate’s theme!!!
Mark and the boys used a lot of creativity while I was working to create a large pirate ship out of Styrofoam.

MARCH
We finally got carpet in the addition!
We visited Exploration Place with Kyle & Olivia
Jenny took us to Sesame Street Live again
I called in sick to work one day just because it was a beautiful day and we went on a big adventure with Aunt Metta
We used the leftover Easter egg dye to create t-shirts…which when wet, leave the dye on the skin per Edison’s experiment with a wet diaper!!!
We found another snake in the laundry room and Kyle helped us take it outside…this time there were really four of them!

We traveled up to Salina for a day trip to the Rolling Hills zoo and museum. Well worth the drive!
Have some great pictures from Coronado Heights, too!!!
Welcomed Miss Emmerson to the world!
Went with Kerri to Pittsburg for the karate tournament and to watch her get her black belt

MAY
Nature was beautiful this month on the farm. We have pictures of different birds, squirrels, and rainbows!
Made our first trip of the season to Cowtown with Grandma. Carson took his drill as a gun and it created quite the stir from the actors
Planted flowers for Mother’s Day in front of the house.
Went to eat at Kobe’s Steak House and the tableside cooking was a real hit with all three boys…were thankful to the Beumeler’s for their company, too!!!

Papa and Daddy hung the tire swing out front
